As you can see, I've made a few more additions to the blog, though I don't suspect I'll do much more to it. I've already received a few compliments on the look and feel of it - guess the rain background didn't quite appeal much after all - and I'm comfortable with it as it is. It does look kind of sharp, doesn't it. :D
There's not much going today. I woke up with a huge headache, unfortunately, and I can see myself lying down and "taking it easy" today - but I did manage to get a few things done last night after the phone calls stopped, heh. I'm half packed for Sydney already (I'm really not taking much), and I'm preparing for my first overseas trip ever. To say that I'm nervous is an understatement - just the plane ride over is going to scare me half to death - but I'm excited, too. I've always wanted to travel, and now I get my chance.
Not much else to report, other than I made a fabulous pasta salad last night that I think I even outdid myself on. One of the things few people know about me is that I love to cook. That ability, like mostly everything else, was made fun of when I was young, so I just kept it hidden.
I was raging about a socially important (to me) subject last night while with friends, and I'd meant to write about it in here, but I'm honestly too tired at the moment. I think I'm going to go back to sleep for a bit, but I'll post about it later, as I do remember what it was about. You know how sometimes you get up and you think you're all right, but then you find out you're still too sleepy to function? That's me right now, heh.
