Top 5 albums that you can't stop playing lately, and tell us why you love them!
1.) Opeth: Damnation
Alternately ethereal and hard-driving. This album has some of the very best prog-rock-metal that I've ever had the privilege to hear. I own many other Opeth releases, but this is the one that I return to again and again. The best tracks include "In My Time Of Need", "Closure" and "Weakness".
2.) Bill Hicks: Arizona Bay
Bill Hicks was a comedic genius - hilariously funny and sarcastic, and obviously way ahead of his time. He's deeply missed by the sentient and the sane. Favorite tracks include "Step On The Gas (The L.A. Riots)", "Clamlappers & Sonic the Hedgehog", and "Pussywhipped Satan".
3.) ABC: The Lexicon of Love
This has always been one of my favorite albums, from the age of 10 onward. I'm not really sure of the attraction - the lyrics are cheesy, the puffery is intense. But the orchestra, the plainitive singing, the puffery, haha... it makes this album. Anyone that likes 80's music/New Wave/Dark Romance genres will enjoy this. I think it's also quite heavy on the cynicism, if you really listen to it well. Favorite tracks here are "Date Stamp", "Valentine's Day" and "4Ever 2Gether".
4.) The Beastie Boys: The Mix-Up
This is a perfect "relax by the poolside with a drink in your hand" album. This is also a perfect "let's take a cruise down the highway" album. Not to mention the perfect "chilling out with friends and a good dinner" album. In short, this is just, well, a perfect album. Loved tracks include "Electric Worm" and "Freaky Hijiki".
5.) Depeche Mode: Violator
What can I say about this? This album is quite simply a masterpiece. It's easily my favorite album of all time. Loved tracks include.... well, all of them. :D

OMG Violator. I adore that CD!!
Bill Hicks was genius, that's all I'm saying. I'd love to hear what he'd have to say about George W.
