Live from Washington, D.C.!....

....I'm at work.  On a Saturday.  Yeah, I know, you all probably thought it was going to be something exciting.  :p

Actually, I don't mind working Saturday.  It's not as busy as the other days, nor do I have to put up with the idiots I work with in this branch - other branches come to help out.  And they're considerably better. I also feel better today, too, so that's a definite win.  Even though I had to get up at 3am to get here on time, I had no problem.  It was also a plus that there was no traffic on the roads, it was nice out weather-wise, etc.  I'd work every Saturday if I could.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that wished the blog well, etc.  I really appreciate all of the comments that I do get, even if I might not respond to them - it doesn't mean I'm not reading them.  I've linked to a couple of new blogs as well, so do enjoy them, let me know what you think, etc.

Not much planned for tonight, since I still have to run errands and do chores tomorrow, as well as finish a project for a class and do my usual posting of responses to the crim course.  Bleah, these people think I actually want to talk to them!  :p  But if it's what it takes to get a grade... actually, I like online courses a lot better than sitting in a classroom, because you don't have to stand up and read anything.  Plus the introduction crap.  God, I hate that... "My name is blah-blah, I'm interested in blah-blah", to people you know you're never going to speak with again after the course is over.

Flying without the Wellbutrin today, as I've run out and one of my errands is to refill my meds.  Still, I'm doing pretty well, I haven't gone homicidal on anyone as of yet.  :p  Now if this were a Tuesday... eeeeesh.

Saw the doctor(s) yesterday, too.  My therapist wants me back on July 3rd, which is the bad news... but the pdoc wants me back 3 months from now, which is excellent news - it means he's confident that the meds are working the way they should.  I brought up "the black moods" but he thinks it's situational.  Might be.  We'll just have to see.

Now if only I could get rid of some assholes here at work during the week... life would be okay.  But... one thing at a time.

More tomorrow/later.

it's always nice to get a change of pace at work. i know when i was a temp working almost all the time at night, then was switched to days, the atmosphere was so different than the drama on 2nd.
